Although valid questions were asked (http://gizmodo.com/the-giant-list-of-shit-mark-zuckerberg-swears-hell-get-1825189623) all the reports of Zuck being “grilled” by lawmakers now seem exaggerated. Members of Congress actually grilled themselves by showing incompetence. Once would have been enough but they did it many times.
I was hoping that Facebook would be put in its place but something different happened: Lawmakers showed how out-of-the-loop and unfit to regulate they are.
“I just think you ought to be a little careful about expecting policy makers to have personal and deep expertise in each of the areas that they make policy in.” -Senator Schatz. This is concerning.
I still think Facebook needs to be fixed or abandoned.
